Blog Reflection

Throughout the year, from typing blog posts and non-fiction critical analyses, to creating synthesis pages, I have become a more experienced writer.   Making a blog is harder than you think.  You have to be aware of your surroundings.
I have learned several things as a reader from creating and keeping up with my blog this year.  Firstly, I have discovered what my taste is in young adult books and in books in general.  Also, I have learned that I enjoy the most dramatic and escalating scenes in realistic fiction books.  I like to read realistic fiction books because I feel that I'm experiencing the scenes that are happening in them.  I benefited from this experience by becoming comfortable with using the blog that I created.  It was interesting to learn something new that you and your friends in different homerooms could socialize about, even in school.
In my opinion based on my experiences in writing, writing online is different than writing in your notebook. When you write online you have to be more conscious of the people who could read your blog and just the social media.  However in your notebook it can be very personal.  As long as you keep it in a safe place, you can write whatever you think, believe and want as a person.  If you hate what you wrote in your notebook you could burn it.  On the other hand, the parts you've written online will be hard to get rid of.  You will probably regret what you wrote if it was something private.
Initially,  I think that people do create online personalities the best of ourselves.  In fact, people don't want to be judged online, so they exaggerate certain personalities  that they contain to make them seem "cool."  Nowadays, teens shouldn't worry too much about their image.  Furthermore, be yourself.  The people who criticize you aren't your friends!  To sum up, writing online can be difficult in many events.
